FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Answers to the things people most often ask about Campersion. Still stuck? We're happy to help.
What is Campersion?+
Campersion is a connected platform for camp management, event production, and ticketing. The three sites share one login and exchange data securely, so organizers, camps, and attendees all work from the same source of truth.
Do I need to pay to use it?+
No. The Free tier is free forever and includes up to 3 camps and 3 events, plus full use of the Camps site for personal planning. Paid tiers add ticketing, workflows, and production tooling — see Pricing.
What's the difference between the Camps site and the Events site?+
The Camps site is where members plan and coordinate for events they attend — membership, campsites, inventory, activities, and volunteer shifts. The Events site is for the people producing an event — general info, staffing, ticketing, art, operations, and finance.
How does ticketing work?+
One ticketing engine powers three channels: the public event portal, the Camps site, and your own website via the API. Every ticket includes the tier, add-ons, event dates, and a QR code for check-in. Learn more on Ticket Management.
Can I sell tickets from my own event website?+
Yes. On the Advanced and Festival tiers, the authenticated REST API lets you read event data and create checkouts from your own interface. See Integrations.
What are the platform fees?+
Platform fees apply only to ticket sales. Advanced is 2% of ticket cost or $2.00, whichever is less; Festival is 1.5% or $1.50, whichever is less. Sales route directly to your account minus that fee.
Can I be part of more than one camp?+
Yes — multi-camp support is included on every tier, so you can belong to more than one camp for an event. Every user also gets a personal solo-camping space for individual planning across multiple events.
How do I sign in?+
Campersion uses a single identity across every site. You can sign in with email, Google, or Microsoft through your Campersion account — the same login works on the Camps and Events sites.
Can I reuse a camp or event next year?+
Yes. A camp or event manager can copy a prior setup to a new event, optionally including shifts (using relative day/time) and either clearing or replicating role holders.
